I think in life there are a lot of firsts that we never really remember...
The first time you trip over your own feet in public and bust out the slight jog afterwards so no one knows you actually just tripped yourself..
The first time you accidentally ate the foil on the outside of the pita you are mowing down at 4am after an evening of drunken tomfoolery but it doesn't really phase you...
The first time you watch the movie 300 and end up kicking your shoe out in traffic as you re-enact the "This is Sparta" scene... (NO? That one was just me? Okay....)
Anyways...
One year ago today I was lucky enough to be a part of a day that can only be described as magical. How these two beautiful, caring, thoughtful, amazing people could have wanted me to stand up with them as they exchanged their lifelong vows still baffles me, but I still feel so honoured to have been a part of it. That day, and this past year, I'm sure has been full of a lot of firsts that they are both never going to forget.
HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY to two of my very favourite people. Wishing you two all kinds of love and happiness today, and ALWAYS!

Things I have learned: Volume 2
I like my dog more than I like most people. Legit. Sometimes when I am at work, I wish that I could text him or call him.. you know... just to see what he`s doing! He gives me so much love and entertainment. My life would be a lot less exciting without his squishy face, annoying whines and all those butt wiggles.

Blurred Banana Lines
Jimmy Fallon is such a stud, and I always love these performances he does with his musical guests and The Roots. One thing I've never noticed before.... what is up with the dude on the far right and the BANANA?? I didn't even know you could play a banana. Please banana man, teach me your banana playing ways!!!
My blog is back, and you're gonna be in trouble...
Greetings Loyal Followers (I mean... Hi Mom!),
After a year long hiatus, I am back in full force (or at least a week or two) to bring you just a few more wonderful insights into this magnificent mind of mine.
I've been stuck in bed the last 3 weeks living off of chef Boyardee ravioli and Netflix. After stepping on the scale the other day, I was delightfully surprised that I was 10lbs lighter than I had been the at the beginning of my Vertigo fiasco. I was thinking, "Wow! This 3 week comatose thing is really working out for my physique!!" That is of course until my roommate told me that I was probably just losing all of my muscle mass... I then realized that I probably look a lot more like Mr. Burns and a lot less like the curvalicious babe I am accustomed to seeing in the mirror each morning.
It's a hard knock life.
